One of those songs which run on their simplicity. -Harshit
Copy-writing masquerading as lyric-writing. -Anup
A very servicable romantic duet. -Arun Verma
High on melody. As much as Sonu/ Shreya combo is warm and nostalgic, the music seems to be composed by somebody who's grown up listening to just them. Nothing fresh/ innovative! -Meera
Has the makings of a really nice, hummable duet, with some reminders of the classic era...but can't help getting distracted by Sonu's strange vocal stylizing in places...lyrics a bit predicatable? -Sanjeev
Textured orchestration lifting the song a few notches. -Nishant
Shreya is her usual sweet singing self, but Sonu sounds so awkward and nasal! Sigh :( One point for the trite ‘click bait’ catch phrase ‘ha.Ns mat pagli pyaar ho jaayega’ (click bait is not always bad). -UVR
Catchy beat. -Vaishali
Composer Vickey Prasad's Hans mat pagli is an easy winner, with its folksy, breezy melody that evokes composer Krsna’s repertoire and winsome vocals by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghosal. -Karthik
Debutant composer Vickey Prasad's romantic melody is an eminently hummable one, and draws a large part of its appeal from its rendition by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal. -Vipin
Sonu Nigam seems to have changed his voice to sing this and does an adequate job. The song has an uncommon hook 'Has mat pagli pyaar ho jayega', but it needed a better music director to make it come alive. Again, too much happening for what is a one-on-one song. This song needed to be kept simple in keeping with the spirit of the lyrics. -Arun Simha
This song has a very boring melody. Nothing particularly wrong with it, but it's just bland. -Megha
