More shadowy background music...pleasant enough. How much auto-tuning. And what's with the bored, careless singing at the very end (last repetition of mukhda). -Sanjeev
Ghar is an ethereally beautiful song. Pritam is a master at song production and this is amongst his best. Not an element is out of place. Nikita Gandhi's delicate singing is perfect for the song and Mohit Chauhan complements her very well. The arrangement is dense and yet subtle. It helps that the tune on which he builds the song is gorgeous. -Param
Good singing and non run of the mill lyrics. The mukhda is quite interesting. -Arun Simha
Song of the year # 1 for me. Great in all departments. Irshad Kamil the modern folk poet comes up with a beauty... o hamase jaane kyuu.N bewajah / jalate hai.n faasale / milanaa tere gale, par mil rahe ye gale. -Arun Verma
Empty, just like the lyrics warn. -Shalini Razdan
Liked Nikhita Gandhi’s mellifluous singing. -Vaishali
Could have been sung better. extra point for mohit's crispy touch. -Nishant
Nikita Gandhi's voice is a perfect fit for this beautifully ambient piece from Pritam that sees some equally fab lyrics from Irshad Kamil, and Mohit Chauhan plays the supporting role well. -Vipin
Drags on and on. -Zafar
Ghar seems like a fantastic tribute to Pancham, with Nikhita Gandhi breathing life into a melody that starts off like an antara, much like Pancham’s imagination! Mohit joins in later and makes it all the more Pancham-like!. -Karthik
I like Nikita's voice texture but something very synthetic about the song arrangements here. -Meera
Irshad Saab had once said lyric writing is literature. This song is a fine example. It is not only about place in each other’s heart, but also place of your heart in the world, in the cities that you travel. Hence, the wanderlust feel to it. And it is written, and even composed, like a ghazal, just not treated like one. Pritam does interesting things with the structure: opening with the landing line, then goes into mukhda. Mohit enters like a breath of fresh air here, only to end the song. A modern classic. -Anup
Moody number that works mainly because of Nikhita Gandhi's vocals while Mohit Chauhan nicely supports her. -Megha
अच्छे बोल। अच्छी गायकी। जलते हैं फासले। इस दौर का एक अच्छा गाना। -Yunus
