One of the better Punjabi-flavored efforts of the year. The music is mercifully understated and Rahat seems to be in solid form. -Shalini Razdan
A foot-taping, rhythmic energy carries Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s melody Sahiba russ gayiya. -Karthik
They still give him songs to render? Package deal? -Nishant
Catchy music, good lyrics, but it's Rahat who adds life into this one. -Harshit
Catchy tune. -Zafar
Prefer Shafaqat version over Rahat. -Anup
Good workable melody. Sometimes those work quite well. A mellow Rahat is unusual and that's a good thing. -Arun Simha
Lovely singing by Rahat!. -Arun Verma
मैं भी नईं बोलणा. -Yunus
Good, catchy tune despite being typical. -Vaishali
Period piece. Traditional instrumentation, dialect has been done over and over, nothing unpredictable as such...and yet very enjoyable...mukhda takes a little while to get to the refrain? -Sanjeev
Once you grudgingly overlook the fact that the composer thought it fit to auto-tune (slightly) Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's voice, you have an eminently listenable, foot-tapping song. I particularly liked the rich arrangement that tastefully blends strings, electric guitar, dholak, sarangi and flute. -Param
Nice layers of complexity in the arrangement. The dholak keeps it nicely folksy. -Omkar
RFAK is treading into the Arijit Singh territory here. Not in voice quality, but in the tendency to sound repetitive. -Megha
A quintessential Rahat Fateh Ali Khan song. Enjoyable listening. The incorporation of the popular Punjabi Tappa tune toward the end of the song was a pleasant surprise. -UVR
After all that Rahat can do he does just the same old thing again and again and again... -Meera
