This song probably makes sense in the context of the film, but damn, it was a pain to get through. -Arun Simha
The singing touched me. I would’ve rated the lyrics higher, except for ”मैंने बोला, ज़िंदगी” ... why can’t people be careful about the distinction between “I spoke” (मैंने बोला) and “I said” (मैंने कहा)?! 😠. -UVR
Only points for Roopak Taal, that'd be all. -Meera
Rekha B's singing crisper here, maybe less room to meander given the tune - somehow not the same impact as the "Anaarkali..." song. -Sanjeev
7 beat rhythm is getting rare to find. -Nishant
Rekha Bhardwaj aces the gentle Saat rangon se effortlessly, with a beautifully lilting percussion that is missing in the acoustic version, along with middling singing by Anupam himself. -Karthik
Irshad Kamil's lyrics shine. -Zafar
लगता है कुछ कमी रह गयी है। रेखा जी की आवाज़, इरशाद के बोल और अनुपम का संगीत-- इससे ज्यादा की उम्मीद थी। गाने में सितार अच्छा लगा। -Yunus
Some good lyrics: aajaa khele.nge ham Khwaabo.n kaa nigaaho.n se juaa. -Arun Verma
This songs has traces of 'abhi mujh mein kahin' from Agneepath. Rekha Bhardwaj is dependable but doesn't deliver on expectations, to be honest. -Megha
A nice, laidback song. Irshad Kamil's Gulzaresque lyrics (or is it just the "saat rang" theme?) are lovely. -Param
