Whimsical, free-flowing melody, exuberantly sung by Mohit. अल्हड मिजाज़ वाला गाना. This could easily be your next road-trip song. Irshad sahab is also having a fun ride with words.
“फेंका नया पासा, फिर दे गयी झांसा,
ऐंवहि मुझे फांसा, चिरकुट ज़िंदगी..!!”
The song changes gears when it goes into “Sun re sun beliyaa..” mode. A tribute to Dev Anand follows with references to his films and songs. So, brighten up your day with मटरगश्ती. -Mihir M
Has a nice hook. -Aditya
Catchy tune, interesting words but why do you have to scream the words? -Ketan
While it is fun listening to it the first few times, the novelty wears off quickly. Full credit for the orchestration but it doesn't work beyond a point. What we are then left with is Mohit Chauhan in a Sanu-esque nasal model and some random Tere Ghar Ke Saamne tribute and a 101 on social media insertions into a song. -Subrat
Guess this song is more for the movies situation than comedy. -Abhay
Catchy, shortlived appeal, chirkut zindagi was a curious phrase. attempts to be philosophical but is quite confused, imho. :-). -Archana
Fun song! The first half is interesting, but the tune seems to meander thereafter. Nice interludes. -Armeen
राज कपूर याद आते हैं। -मिहिर पं.
I can relate to it only as a comedian reciting funny stuff. -Ashok
The best song in the album, with some nice percussions in the arrangement. The mandolin gives a nice perky feel to the song. -Sowmya
Fantastically cute song, and mohit is the perfect choice for this song. he did good, as did the composer!. -Neha
