Would call this discovery of RMIM Puraskaar process - while I liked the mukhda even before I had not paid much attention to all the words before. On a careful listen, I realized I really liked words. -Archana
Nicely done by Indian Ocean. The singing is rough at the edges. But the arrnagement is simple yet effective. The lyrics are a tad different in terms of choice of words. The whole package works. -Subrat
The lyrics are very well imagined and engaging, IMO. -UVR
A song that aptly captures the essence of the film and its characters through its moving, honest and thoughful lyrics. The lyrics reflect the pain, remorse the characters are experiencing but it also speaks of love and hope that sustains life. -Vikas
Bears repeated listening and attention to words. -Ashok
Bad music, bad singing. -Ketan
Superb lyrics by Varun Grover put to a delectable blend of earthy and modern music. -Shivani
There have been numerous songs about fickleness of human mind in the past. Kirkire’s Bawara Mann, Akhtar’s Mere mann yeh bata de tu being some of them. Mann kasturi re is a value addition to that list. The music is very trance-like. The song primarily rests on Varun’s poetry. How aptly this line conveys whimsical nature of mind- बिखरे-बिखरे छंद सा टहले, दोहों में ये बंध ना पावे.
The highlight being उल्टा कर के देख सके तो अम्बर भी है गहरी खाई… Laajawab!. -Mihir M
Love the last interlude of this song. -Sunil
An electrifying song with what is delivered in terms of music and it beautifully wanders through various moods. Vocals are a tad off. -Sowmya
