This is a very melodious song, which takes us back to the days of Khayyam's compositions. The singing on this melody also gives it a feel of a contemporary ghazal. -Vikas

श्रेया घोषाल रूमानी गीतों को तो अपनी मिश्री जैसी आवाज़ का रस घोलती ही रहती हैं पर एक ग़ज़ल को जिस ठहराव की आवश्यकता होती है उसको भी समझते हुए उन्होंने इसे अपनी आवाज़ में ढाला है। शफक़त इस ग़ज़ल में श्रेया की अपेक्षा थोड़े फीके रहे हैं पर उनका संगीत संयोजन वाज़िद अली शाह के रूमानियत भरे बोलों के साथ दिल में सुकून जरूर पहुँचाता है। -मनीष
