Who is this Dagh Dehlvi, some new lyricist? He writes very well indeed! What excellent Urdu vocabulary he uses! (This is how I imagine some conversations going these days). BTW, I should explain the '1' rating for the singing: I don't think Shreya does a good job with these tawaaif-type songs. She tries too hard to inject the necessary 'baazaarupan' into her voice and comes off too earnest. "kambaKht Ghazal bhi gaati hai to lagta hai bhajan gaa rahi hai". -UVR

Umarao Jaan redux? But this is no Khayyam soundtrack. It is all sarangi, shehnai, tabla and one major Sitar interlude without any soul. Shreya Ghosal sings well but there's no real material to work on. -Subrat
