Easily the song of the year for me. Everything about this is top-notch. -Aditya
Even though the song is lovely, it is absolutely unoriginal and reminds the listener of songs such as "Ek ladki ko dekha". -Sowmya
Anu Malik couldn’t have asked for a better comeback. His composition is musically rich seamlessly moving from one raaga to another. He effectively employs Naveen Kumar’s flute and Omkar Dhumal’s Shehnai especially during the interludes. The song is beautifully written by Varun. A repetition of Moh-Moh, Toh-Toh gives it a journey like feel. There is very Rumi-sque खाली राहें, हम आँख मूंदें जाएँ, पहुंचे कहीं तो बेवजह.. Papon sings with required theheraav. -Mihir M
Unquestionably the song of the year for me. Like both the versions almost the same. -Archana
This was the version of the song I heard first. After listening to the Monali version, my conviction that Papon is an excellent singer only got stronger. And when I looked to see who the MD was, I did a double take: Anu Malik, really? Where was /THIS/ Anu Malik in the 80s and 90s when he was dishing out indifferent music? Oh well, back to this song. Varun comes up with a lovely set of words to put into Anu Malik's tune. Very pleasant to listen to indeed. -UVR
Composition is average but the voice really lets it down. Put me to sleep. -Ketan
Simple. Poetic. And heartfelt. This song captures not only the romantic mood of the situation but also stays with you for a long time after it is over. A welcome return by Anu Malik and sung passionately and in equally beautiful fashion by both Monali Thakur and Papon. It is difficult to pick one version over the other. -Vikas
Both shehnai and flute interludes are nice. -Sunil
Papon is one to watch for!. -Neha
What Monali can do, Papon can do better, of course. -Subrat
