Rekha and Rahat understand how to deliver Vishal's tunes better than anyone else, and Vishal's tunes are the perfect vehicle for Gulzar's lyrics today. Rahat's voice is perfect for the whirling-darvish-like repetition of "ghuTataa hai dam-dam-dam-dam (3) ghuTataa hai" refrain. Beautiful song. -UVR
