Loved the jazz in the whole soundtrack. Amit and the singers rock. -Vinayakam
Amazing tune, good singing despite the very open attempt at imitating the inimitable Geeta Dutt. -Ketan
Neeti Mohan is star of the song. Her hiccups, adayein and all the embellishments added by her help to enrich Amit’s fantastic composition. Her मादक tone for this song and the way she modulates her voice with required power or softness is just perfect. The song has interesting and quirky words by Amitabh. सूरत से भोली, नीयत शिकारी. लगती है हलकी, पड़ती है भारी. मोहब्बत बुरी बीमारी. Word. -Mihir M
In which the Shefali Alvaris version gives Neeti Mohan a serious run for her money. The Shalmali Kholgade version is pretty interesting, too. You've got to respect Amit Trivedi for picking the perfect female voices for the Bombay Velvet soundtrack. Amitabh Bhattacharyya churns out funny lyrics once again (but way less risque than "What to do" - Aiyyaa. -UVR
Shefali Alvares version scores over the other. -Aditya
There're three versions, each distinctive. Same rating. -Ashok
Neeti is at her best; Full throated and powerful. -Sowmya
This was plain torture. -Abhay
Neeti Mohan's version hews closed to the more classical free jazz form. Shalmali's version is a riot but a tad too showy in terms of rendition. Amit Trivedi is spot on again in choice of instruments and creating a beautiful harmony. -Subrat
Shalmali Kholgade scores above the Neeti Mohan version. -Shivani
