Lovely use of the trumpet. -Sunil
A break from all that jazz in the album. Mohit keeps getting more nasal every year (to what end? It adds nothing to the song). Lots of gentle trumpeting in the background and good arrangements again. Nothing spectacular. -Subrat
Most gorgeous, seductive, stunning song of the year. That’s how I’ll describe Behroopiyan. One of the best tracks of 2015, it has been painstakingly produced by Amit. There is a certain dreamy, surreal quality to the song. Mohit Chauhan’s razor sharp voice slits through the aura this song creates when he sings ~ ‘Haseen kasoor kiya..’. Neeti Mohan complements Mohit’s singing and adds to the overall seductiveness. The song has got amazing lyrics by AB.
जला, चिंगारी शमा बन जा,
मैं भी परवाना हूँ मुझे आज़मा..
बुझी शम्मा से ना दिल बहला,
हाथ में आएगा तेरे बस धुंआ.. . -Mihir M
Of all the songs in this soundtrack, this is the one that left me cold. -UVR
The weakest song in the album for me. Arijit sounds monotonous. -Vinayakam
One of the best overall songs, Mohit Chauhan's lazy voice giving the perfect feel for this lazy laid-back jazz. Not to forget Amit Trivedi's super composition. -Shivani
The sultryness of the song is spoilt by Mohit Chauhan's overemoting. -Ketan
At least the lyrics are interesting. All these songs are relying on the same formula. Slow tempo. -Abhay
A lovely duet pair Mohit and Neeti, this is an oddball in the entire album. Impressive nevertheless. -Sowmya
