Arijit strikes again, where you expect him the least. SLB has a decent sense of tune selection but the entire album has a faux-curated feel to it. This is the song that works the most. -Vibhendu
Again, these songs may help the scene, but just for listening are simply not interesting. -Abhay
Ho hum. The number of singers do not make a song good. -Ketan
The singing gives a very spiritual feel to the song. -Vinayakam
Strained singing. -Ashok
Lovely arrangement. -Sunil
Aayat takes over where Laal ishq left off in Ram-Leela. A soothing composition sung in a divine manner by Arijit Singh. One can keep listening to his rendition and not get tired of. In the middle, the composer smoothly introduces qawwali elements. The lyrics add to the sacred feel of the song.
तेरा ज़िक्र हो रहा है इबादत की तरह
कायम तू हो गयी है रिवायत की तरह . -Mihir M
Almost as good as Aaj ibadat, with Atijit impressing with his effortless classical abilities. -Sowmya
I have a huge problem with arijit. his singing with lazy emphasis on words…i hate it. -Neha
Even though the music has memories of Ram Leela, it is perfect for the mood of this beautifully penned song about love and respect for the one you love. -Vikas
Arijit is not in his 'mould' here and shows how good he can be if he isn't given the same genre over and over again. Everything else sounds familiar to some old Bhansali number which I can't place right now. -Subrat
The qawwali snatch in the middle is nice. While the lyrics are fine, some technical flaws are irksome. -Aditya
