Brings out the angst beautifully. -Vinayakam
काफ़ी 'मौला' टाइप गाना है। -मिहिर पं.
Divya Kumar demonstrates that Sukhwinder Singh has successfully established a 'genre' of singing in Bollywood. -UVR
Fine music with the opening guitar piece, and percussions, but tiring punjabi vocals that seem to be the norm these days. The song overall is nicely arranged. -Sowmya
I assumed that it's not the "rock version"; that is noisier, but words seemed different and somewhat better. -Ashok
Doesn't offer anything new. Just another Punjabi song. -Abhay
I'm no fan of this genre but there are a few things going for this song - the singing is good, the orchestration is different with lots of guitar, some shehnai in between and an all round effort at trying to do something different in a tiresome genre. An additional half a point point for the song overall. -Subrat
Sukhwinder Singh hangover in Divya Kumar's voice, including his pronunciations. -Shivani
The screaming sound like fingernails on a chalkboard. -Ketan
Useless! How do they justify such a song, given the plot?!. -Armeen
A kickass track filled with grungy guitar riffs, synth, drums, and Divya Kumar’s powerful and heartfelt vocals, where he brings out the pain, agony experienced by the protagonist in a most effective manner. There is even a Shehnai during the second interlude after which the song mellows down a little. The transition from that part to the mukhda is bit jarring. -Mihir M
