This is probably the best song among the 3. The music in itself manages to emote without the vocals helping the song project the pain. Rekha and Arijit are at their usual best. -Sowmya
Some interesting parts, some part it's a drag. Overall it makes an emotional impact. -Abhay
Was familiar with this song since I had watched the movie and paid specific attention to soundtrack. The folk and the modern orchestration is nicely woven. Rekha is restrained (a good change from her recent over the top, unrestrained bass style) and the lyrics complement the emotions well. -Subrat
Found Arijit quite decent in this one but Rekha disappointed. -Archana
Rekha never disappoints…. -Neha
Half-decent tune made generic with unnecessary 'technofying'. Rekha Bhardwaj needs to wake up. -Armeen
An absolutely haunting song that aptly captures the anguish and pain associated with the loss of a loved one. The music and singing are just right and the lyrics are applaud-worthy. -Vikas
Interesting voicing by Rekha, but wish she had avoided too much nasality; sprinkling Kabir didn't work for me. -Ashok
An experimental track by the duo of Sachin-Jigar which also turns out to be their best composition this year. What I love about this track is that they have kept the orchestration minimal. There is a poignant sarangi clubbed with Rekha Bhardwaj’s base vocals. From low-pitched voice of Rekha, the song jumps to Arijit’s high-pitched, tuneful “Chadriya jheeni re jheeni…” This contrast works really well. Lyrics have a melancholic tone, and they underline the fragility of human life and it’s moments. It’s a song very well done. -Mihir M
Good use of Rekha's voice in the lower register.Lovely use of Sarangi. -Sunil
This is a really nice tune that is hampered by the inability of the singers to the rise to the occasion. -Ketan
