श्रेया कई बार इतना अच्छा गाती हैं कि बार बार सुनने पर भी आपका गीत के बोलों पर ध्यान नहीं जाता। वे चाहे कुछ भी बोलें, उनके पास इतनी मिठास है कि आप बार बार सुन सकते हैं। दुर्भाग्य कि वे अपना सर्वश्रेष्ठ बहुत कम गाती हैं और कम ही अच्छे गीत चुनती हैं। -Gaurav

Shreya Ghosal is perfectly at home with this semi-classical compositions and delivers with sincerity. The soft mood is reminiscent of the Kanu Roy compositions for Basu Bhattacharya. A treat to the ears. -Shashi

गीत की धुन रवीन्द्र संगीत के मूल गीत ’खेलाघर बांधते लेगेची’ पे आधारित है मगर बेहतरीन वाद्य संयोजन और श्रेया की गायकी ने रस माधुर्य का वातावरण रचा है. गुलज़ार के बोल टैगोर का सीधा अनुवाद नहीं हैं, वरन टैगोर की छवियों को लेकर नई कविता गढ़ने की कोशिश है जिसमें वे कामयाब भी रहे हैं. -Pavan
Shreya Ghoshal wants to be playful, but ends up sounding cheesy. I do like her in the lower range though. The tune meanders all over and while (based on the poster) I thought the movie was a period piece, the orchestration is entirely too modern. -Armeen

मनवा आगे भागे रे बांधूँ सौ-सौ तागे रे.. गुलज़ार गीत के मुखड़े से ही श्रोताओं को अपने शब्द जाल से चमत्कृत कर देते हैं। श्रेया की गायिकी की जितनी तारीफ़ की जाए कम है। संगीत में पाश्चात्य और भारतीय शैली का मेल दिखता है। -Manish

Thanks to Gulzar for introducing me to taage; Shreya Ghoshal's vocals are masterful, but feature a bit more breathing than I would have liked to hear; the choir makes this song not as "quiet" as it started out being. -George
