Wow, what a pleasant surprise! A clear testimony to the fact that Sudesh Bhosle should never be allowed near an AB song (especially when auto-tuning is available :-). The light orchestration during the first half of the song is a nice touch… apt for the lyrics. -Armeen
Scores high on the arrangements but does not quite transcend being a vehicle for the Big B; vishal's rozaanaa was a more adventurous journey for the famous baritone; reminds me of jidhar dekhuu.N from Mahaan. -George
Bachchan is the standout feature of this track. The quiet way the song starts and the build up to the flourish at the end. Vishal Shekhar are really good in this track with their orchestration and the way they use Bachchan's voice. -Subrat
Lovely buildup from an unplugged mode to an orchestral finish. One of Vishal-Shekhar's best compositions. Big B sounds fab rendering this. -Vipin

गीत बहुत कुछ बाग़बान के गीत की याद दिलाता है. अमिताभ ने बहुत डूब के गाया है. विशाल शेखर का वाद्य संयोजन बेहतरीन है ख़ासकर अल्पतम वाद्यों से शुरु होकर गीत केवल अमिताभ की गायकी के सहारे आगे बढ़ता है और धीरे धीरे वाद्यों के समावेश से अपना असर बढ़ाता है. -Pavan
If this is his actual voice and not aided by recording gimmicks, it's wonderfully sung by Big B. Like the minimalist, laid back, low key approach to the music. Brings back memories of "Jidhar dekhoon teri tasveer" from Mahaan. -Ketan

अमिताभ ने बहुत कम गीत गाए हैं पर जब-जब उन्होंने अपनी आवाज़ का इस्तेमाल बतौर पार्श्व गायक किया उनका जादू वहाँ भी चला है। विशाल-शेखर अमिताभ की आवाज़ का असर भली भांति जानते हैं। इसलिए अमिताभ जब गीत शुरु करते हैं तो संगीत संयोजन नाममात्र का ही है। अमिताभ जब एक बार गीत के मुखड़े और एकमात्र अंतरे को गा लेते हैं तो ताल वाद्यों की बढ़ती रिदम के साथ गीत की पुनरावृति होती है। -Manish
Takes it time to set the mood. And once it does, it has a fascinating hold over you - the music arrangement is very creative and the composition takes good advantage of AB's voice (actually attempts to make him a singer) he even indulges in a few taans. -Shashi
