It's a nice tune and Shilpa Rao puts in a good effort but the tune is left too dry initially. Then all of a sudden there is too much of spice added to it. A bit uneven. Could have got a higher rating. -Ketan
The music sets the mood well. The singing reminds one of Rekha Bharadwaj in Ishqiya. Love when the music picks up 3.5 mins into the song - elevates it completely to dramatic heights. Love the balance between the music and vocals, each giving space to the other. -Shashi

Shilpa Rao is easily one of the most underutilized and talented singers today. This song suits her really well. I like the violins followed by the guitar starting midway into the song. Enhances the charm further and this continues till the end. -Sowmya

The arrangement remains restrained, building very slowly until everything is unleashed after the 3:30 mark for an extended coda that suggests that Amit Trivedi should consider doing background scores as well. -George
