Jury comments
Pritam must have been thinking of November Rain while composing this song. The song does not appeal to me - nothing that has not been done or heard before. This could very well belong to any Mahesh Bhatt movie. -Shashi
Is this supposed to be Sufi? Seemed more pop or fusion like to me. -Armeen
Shafqat singing at some of the higher notes is uneven. Sure he can carry the tune but the sound isn't pleasant. -Ketan
Easy on the ears, but very average. Could not develop any liking even after multiple listens. -Aditya
Initially I was leaning towards giving Shafqat a higher score. Some parts he conquors and in some he has a free fall. Unfortunately he sounds very pitchy in most places. Music-wise again a repeat from yesteryears. -Sowmya
I didn’t find it very sufi to be honest. But spectacular singing by Shafqat. -Vipin
Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan competes with the arrangements in a familiar re-tread of familiar elements. -George
Quite honestly, I loved the soul version of this song. The Sufi version left me cold as has Shafqat's singing of late. -Subrat
